We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef on behalf of our client, a four-star property based in the Kilkenny Area The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience as Sous Chef in a 4-star property, ideally with both a restaurant and banqueting background.
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in the smooth day to day running of the kitchen, ensuring that high standards of food quality and guest service are met, while minimising food wastage. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in leading and training the kitchen team, support the kitchen operations of the hotel and ensure full adherence to health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
