Description
We are seeking an experienced Lounge Manager to oversee and elevate the guest experience within the renowned lounge of our client, a well-known luxury 5* hotel in Dublin City centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hotel operations and the ability to manage high-volume lounge operations while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of lounge operations, including but not limited to staffing, service standards, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that every guest has a memorable experience by setting and maintaining the highest levels of service and attention to detail.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor lounge staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Financial Management: Responsible for budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation within the lounge.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, storage, and rotation of beverage and food items to maintain quality and minimize waste.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce service and operational standards, including regular quality checks and evaluations.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and training as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a management role within luxury hotel operations, particularly in high-volume lounge or bar/restaurant management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
