Description

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead the exceptional dining team of our client, a well-known luxury hotel in Co Meath. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury food and beverage operations and the ability to manage high-volume dining while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, including dining rooms, bars, banquets, and room service, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that every guest has a memorable culinary experience by maintaining the highest levels of service and attention to detail.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor food and beverage staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation within the food and beverage department.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, storage, and rotation of food and beverage items to maintain quality and minimize waste.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce service and operational standards, including regular quality checks and evaluations.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menu offerings, ensuring they align with the hotel's brand and guest expectations.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and oversee special events, private functions, and promotions within the food and beverage department.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and training as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management role within luxury food and beverage operations, particularly in high-volume dining.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends, including wines, cocktails, and culinary offerings.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
