Director of Sales and Marketing 5-Star Hotel Cork

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing for this beautiful 5-star property in Cork. The ideal candidate will have experience as Director of Sales and Marketing, preferably in a 4 or 5-star property. We are seeking applications from candidates who possess strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with excellent team motivation, communication and proactivity.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, coaching, developing and training the sales and marketing team to realise and achieve departmental goals and budgets
• Designing and implementing the sales and marketing plans and budgets for the hotel
• Seeking and securing new business, building on the brand as well as cementing and maximising on present clientele
• Report writing, regularly reporting to the GM, issuing reports on a monthly basis
• Liaising and co-operating with the hotel management team to communicate and implement the sales and marketing plans throughout each department
• Monitoring and tweaking the marketing plan, tracking return on investment vs KPI’s and amending activity to meet budgetary objectives
