Deputy General Manager, Luxury 5-Star Property

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Deputy General Manager to join the leadership team at a well-known luxury 5* resort in Leinster. As Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of this prestigious hotel. You will work closely with the General Manager to uphold the commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining the highest standards of service, and fostering a positive work environment for their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute the hotel's strategic vision and operational goals.
• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals to achieve excellence in service delivery.
• Maintain a strong focus on financial performance, budgeting, and cost control.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of hotel operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance the hotel's reputation and profitability
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and health and safety standards.
• Act as the General Manager's delegate in their absence.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the luxury hospitality industry, ideally in a 5-star hotel.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Relevant degree or qualifications in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
