We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the senior management team of our client, a well-established Hotel Group with properties throughout Ireland. We are seeking someone with experience managing the finance function of small and medium sized businesses in the service, retail or hospitality sector with strong budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and modelling capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of corporate finance, dealing with both investors and lenders and experience in completing asset transactions and due diligence. Experience in change management and implementing processes and efficiencies in companies and formulating and implementing strategy is also essential. Remote working options in place and the role will involve travel up to two days per week to Dublin or Cork.

The ideal person will have:
- Proven experience as CFO or Finance Officer
- Corporate finance competence with excellent knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Commercial mindset and strategic thinking
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Problem solving and data analysis skills
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
- In depth knowledge of forecasting methods and strategic planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
