Description
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine on behalf of our client, a busy 4-star hotel based in Co Clare. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience as Head Chef in a four or five-star hotel or upmarket restaurant.
Reporting into the Executive Chef we are looking for a candidate who has the following:
- Experience with large scale banqueting and events as you will be overseeing the banqueting department
- Familiar with financials/costings etc
- A flair for cooking and a passion for luxury dining
- Experience with menu planning/wastage etc
- Keeps on top of industry trends
- A real leader who can lead by example and encourage a good team working environment
- A great mentor who the junior chefs can look up to
- Excellent HACCP & Hygiene procedures
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills
