Coming from the luxury hospitality market where Sharon has spent most of her career, she has in recent years, discovered a passion for the ever-changing people profession. Currently finishing study of an Associate Diploma in HR Management (CIPD), she is excited about the impact HR good practice can deliver to an organisation. She loves to support a company’s biggest asset – its people and believes in creating meaningful and lasting relationships with management and employees.
Before her career in HR, Sharon studied hospitality and catering management and spent 8 years immersed in the French hospitality environment, from prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants to some of the finest luxury Relais and Chateaux Hotels in the country.
Returning to Ireland, Sharon found her niche in the luxury market with the esteemed Capella Hotel group, Lough Eske Castle, where she spent 13 years developing her career.
She completed a leadership development program during her time as Front Office Manager at Lough Eske Castle which gave her the foundations for all things HR. She then undertook an exciting new opportunity in the role of HR Manager for the Company ensuring HR best practice, employment law compliance and driving people strategy. Sharon has extensive experience in creating training plans and improving policies and procedures. She underwent training programs such as Train the Trainer and Investigations Training. Her many years in leadership roles has given her an exceptional insight into the operational challenges businesses can experience. Sharon is excited to join the team and share her unique perspectives to help professionals with innovative ways to contribute value to their organisations.
