Education recruitment Swansea
At present the UK has over 150 Education Authorities and more than 30,000 schools. To contact each of these separately is obviously not practical. In addition no matter how much research is undertaken, sometimes a position or school just does not suit a teacher. This leads to dissatisfaction for both the teacher and the school. Action Recruitment can help you avoid these pitfalls as we will work together with both you and the client.
We will give you impartial advice and facts and can place you according to your profile. In addition you can often start off in a school as a supply teacher and later become permanent (if you and the school so desire). More information on our education recruitment services
The term 'Teaching Assistant' is a term used for classroom assistants, learning support officers and other staff whose primary role is to assist the teacher in the classroom.
The role of the teaching assistant is to help raise educational standards in the classroom, by providing support for the pupils, the teacher and the school.
Responsibilities range and change daily from performing routine tasks to working with individual children with special needs. An increasing number of teaching assistants are given the task of assessing pupils' literacy and numeracy performance.
Teaching assistants can help manage large and small groups of children enabling the pupils to receive more attention and become better learners. They can also give extra help to those children who find interacting with other pupils difficult.
